Tá Mí na Gramadaí linn! June is our Irish Grammar Month here in Washington DC, and we’re ready to tackle all those recurring mistakes and tricky mutations! This special 4-week grammar course is designed for all students of Irish. Each week Múinteoir Quinton will be tackling an aspect of Irish grammar and working through a series of examples, exercises and practical uses for students of all levels. We will have a range of resources on hand so that students of all levels feel challenged and their use of Irish becomes more precise. If you’d like to join us, class begins next Wednesday, June 7th in Friendship Heights. For any students who have specific grammar questions, please drop us a line and we will do our best to address your grammar topic over the course of the four weeks.
Míle buíochas d’achan duine a chuidigh linn ag Lá na hEorpa ag Ambasáid na hÉireann níos luaithe sa mhí – bhí lá ar dóigh againn! A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped out at EU Open Day earlier this month – what a fun day! It was wonderful to meet so many new people who are interested in learning Irish and we look forward to welcoming you into the Irish language community in Washington DC (we will be offering new classes again soon). See below for some pics from the day at the Irish Embassy.
