Cuirfear na téacsanna liteartha céanna i gcomhthéacs sóisialta agus cultúrtha na hÉireann.\nIs léachtóir agus taighdeoir é an Dr Seán Mac Risteaird a bhfuil spéis aige sa litríocht chomhaimseartha agus i léann na haiteachta. Foilsíodh Teanga don Tost leis in 2024, agus bhuaigh an leabhar céanna Duais Leabhar Taighde na Bliana ó ACIS in 2025.\nGender and sexuality issues have been a hot topic in the public discourse for the past few years and the same issues are flourishing in the context of the Irish language. In this workshop, we will focus on literary representations of the LGBT+ community in the context of the Irish language. The same literary texts will be placed in the social and cultural context of Ireland.\nDr Seán Mac Risteaird is a lecturer and researcher with an interest in contemporary literature and the study of place.
