Join #TascAnLae in February!

A chara, Lá Fhéile Bríde sona duit! The traditional Celtic festival of Imbolc is a time of rebirth and new beginnings. St. Brigid’s Day is also, as President Higgins states, a celebration of the creativity, genius, courage and achievement of Irish women. To mark the season, we’re posting an Irish language task each day in February on Instagram. We’re calling the project #TascAnLae and we would love YOU to join us! Our weekly themes will be Mé Féin/Myself (Feb 1-7), Bia agus Deoch/Food and Drink (Feb 8-14), Ceol/Music (Feb 15-21) and Taisteal/Travel (Feb 22-28)! Even if you’re new to Irish, you can join in the fun by watching the videos, liking, sharing and responding with questions – bí linn i gcomhair #TascAnLae!

Big news – we have added some video content! Our next Free Starter Class takes place on Sunday, February 7th at 12pm ET (5pm Ireland), but if you can’t make it, do not fear – we have now added 3 short videos of the class content for you to watch whenever you like! Log in, download the PDF and watch the videos – click here to get started with your Free Starter Class!

A new term of 7-week online courses for all levels begins Monday, March 1st. Our new courses Saol na Gaeilge and A1/A2 Improverswill continue on Fridays and Saturdays respectively, as well as all TEG courses from A0 Introductory to B1 Intermediate. If you have any questions, please let us know. To see all the activities that we have going on in our language community, please visit Gaeltacht.net.
