Level: Live 7-week A0 Introductory Irish course, via Zoom.
Dates: Tuesday, Sep 8, 15, 22, 29, Oct 6, 13, 20.
Includes 7-weeks complimentary access to Club Comhrá for additional practise.
Time: 3:30 – 4:50pm (Los Angeles), 6:30 – 7:50pm (New York), 11:30 – 12:50am (Dublin).

Our 7-week A0 courses are designed for beginners in Irish, and each course can be taken independently: Cúrsa 1, 2, 3 or 4. Together, they develop the same communication skills through different themes.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to understand and use common Irish words and phrases, participate in short conversations with support, recognise common pronunciation patterns, and progress to the A1 course with confidence.
In our A0 courses we emphasise building the learner’s confidence and connecting the learning to the activities in the online Irish community.

Seachtain 1 – Dia Duit!
Communicative Goal: Meet people, greet them, introduce yourself. Learn about the language!
Seachtain 2 – Mise
Communicative Goal: Give simple personal information and ask questions of others. Build your skills in simple conversation.
Seachtain 3 – Mo Chlann
Communicative Goal: Describe family and people from your daily life. Practise asking and answering questions.
Seachtain 4 – Mo Lá
Communicative Goal: Talk about everyday routines and work. Describe what you do each day.
Seachtain 5 – Bia & Deoch
Communicative Goal: Order food and express likes and dislikes.
Seachtain 6 – Cá Bhfuil…?
Communicative Goal: Ask and answer simple location questions connected with your daily life.
Seachtain 7 – Ag Caint Le Chéile
Communicative Goal: Hold a short, teacher-supported conversation.
