Level: Live 7-week A0 Introductory Irish course, via Zoom.
Dates: Sunday, Sep 13, 20, 27, Oct 4, 11, 18, 25.
Includes 7-weeks complimentary access to Club Comhrá for additional practise.
Time: 12 – 1:20pm (Los Angeles), 3 – 4:20pm (New York), 8 – 9:20pm (Dublin).

Our 7-week A0 courses are designed for beginners in Irish, and each course can be taken independently: Cúrsa 1, 2, 3 or 4. Together, these A0 courses develop similar communication skills through simple themes. A0 courses do not need to be taken in any specific order.
By the end of each course, you will be able to understand and use common Irish words and phrases, participate in short conversations with support, recognise common pronunciation patterns, and progress to the A1 course with confidence.
In each of our A0 courses, we emphasise building your language confidence and connecting your learning to the activities in the online Irish community.

Gain confidence with pronunciation, greetings and basic classroom expressions and questions.
Seachtain 2 – Mo Theanga
Identify words associated with the Irish language, history and learning.
Seachtain 3 – Ag Cur Síos
Describe everyday routines, objects using colours and simple adjectives.
Seachtain 4 – Laethanta na Seachtaine & An Aimsir
Know the days of the week and simple weather descriptions.
Seachtain 5 – Mo Theach
Describe your home and rooms where you live.
Seachtain 6 – Is Maith Liom…
Talk about interests, hobbies and simple activities using common verbs.
Seachtain 7 – Comhrá: Mo Shaol
Combine course lessons into short practical conversations.
