Hi I’m Cody. a voice actor from Canada. I have become interested in Irish language since discovering the band Kneecap. I have some Irish ancestry from my grandmothers side. The family name is Lehan. I watched a documentary about the revival of the Irish language and found it to be so beautiful – it got me interested in connecting more with my Irish roots. I have Indigenous Canadian ancestry as well and there common themes with both Indigenous Canadians and Indigenous Irish folks that feel important for me to know.

I’m hoping to learn the Irish language as a way to better understand where I’ve come from.
