TEG CERTIFICATION

Would you like to set yourself a language goal?
Would you like to gain an official Irish language certification?

The TEG (Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge) is an Irish language proficiency examination and qualification for adult learners of Irish. The TEG offers candidates an opportunity to show their ability in the Irish language and to obtain an internationally-recognised certificate in Irish. Our courses are based on the TEG curriculum (in reading, writing, listening and conversation) and classes run throughout the year in order to prepare students who would like to sit TEG exams in May/June.

The first TEG examination is TEG A1. The recommended number of study hours/learning for the A1 exam is 80 – 100 hours. We have helped prepare over 30 students to successfully complete their TEG examinations in 2018 and 2019, and we are happy to advise you on your suitability for TEG. You can read more about the curricula and exams at www.teg.ie
