Dia duit! Is mise Kelsey Crawford
I’m originally from Minneapolis, MN. I moved to Portland, Oregon in 2008 ❁Cowlitz/Clackamas land.
I’m a visual artist – is ealaíontór mé, musician, Licensed Manual Therapist (LMT), and Certified Nutritionist (CN). Presently, I work in complementary care as a manual therapist in an integrative clinic in PDX and I continue to write music (themesmusic.com) and sell my art (KelseyCrawford.Art) in the Pacific Northwest and online around the world.
I feel pulled to learn Irish through my paternal grandfather who is from County Antrim. He grew up in a home where Irish was their first language. It has been fun to share this experience/journey with him as I go, he turned 97 years old this December and has some pretty amazing stories of traveling to, from, and across Ireland in the 1970s and 80s.
I first started taking Irish classes a couple of years ago, but have taken an extended break to return to school. Now that I am graduated I look forward to getting back to it! My work in life is focused on illuminating the connection between the creative and healing arts and I believe that language plays an important role in that.
