Caint Indíreach: Indirect Speech, with Liam Ó Díomasaigh

Sa cheardlann seo, déantar iniúchadh ar an gcaint indíreach sa Ghaeilge, agus dírítear ar cathain agus conas a úsáidtear í.

This ceardlann explores the use of Indirect Speech (Caint Indíreach) in Irish, focusing on when and how it’s used. Indirect speech often follows verbs of saying, reporting or thinking and requires changes in tense, person, and word order. The workshop highlights key grammatical changes, such as the use of conjunctions, dependent form of verbs and changes in pronouns.
