A chairde, tá súil againn go bhfuil sibh maith! It’s the start of Mí Lúnasa (August), and the beginning of the harvest season in Ireland. Here’s hoping the upcoming months will be a rewarding time for us all, and a time of growth in the Irish language community.

Join us for a fun, bilingual workshop on August 5th with Julie Anne de Brún! Through music and song, we’ll be exploring sea life, superstitions and storytelling. Learn common words and phrases related to boats, fish and sea creatures, and sing along to some traditional Irish songs! All levels welcome.
Julie Anne de Brún is a Galway-based educator who travels the country sharing her love of Irish through music, storytelling and technology workshops! You can read her recent article, about Irish words used to describe sea life, here.

We’ve added a wide range of new courses to our schedule for September, including our first ever B1/B2 Upper Intermediate course! We’re also introducing 3 brand new courses this term: Siúl Siar (focusing on Irish, American and World History), An Cailín Ciúin (oral language practice, using role play from the Oscar-nominated film) and Gramadach (a 7-week course focused on 7 Irish prepositions.
