Féile na Gaeilge 2020 is here!

Feile na Gaeilge buailte linn! For the 4th year in a row, we are having a week of Irish language activities, and this year the festival is entirely online! Bígí páirteach nuair is féidir libh; we have comhrá sessions and daily tasks on our social media platforms (see below). On Wednesday it’s Oíche na Mac Léinn/Student Night, where students will give a short presentation on a topic of their choice, and we’ll be playing Earth Day bingo! You can register via the links below.

Mon 20th: Tasc an Lae

Tue 21st: Beginner Comhrá
6 – 7pm ET (11pm – midnight Ireland)
Conversation practise for introductory (A0) and beginner-level (A1) learners.

Wed 22nd: Oíche na Mac Léinn (Student Night)
6 – 7pm ET (11pm – midnight Ireland)
Ar mhaith leat labhairt faoi rud éigin atá suimiúil duitse? Bí linn!
Irish learners are invited to give a 3-minute presentation on any topic they choose. Followed by ‘Earth Day’ bingo as Gaeilge!

Fri 24th: PopUp Gaeltacht!

An opportunity for all to meet and chat online. BYOB – tóg leat do dheoch féin!

Thanks to all the students who have attended classes in Term 4, and especially to our DC students who quickly adapted to our online classroom. New courses begin soon (see below), including a new 7-week Introductory course on Sundays. Coinnigh slán, agus feicfidh muid sibh go luath/Keep safe, and we will see you soon!

FÉILE NA GAEILGE

Reáchtálfar Féile na Gaeilge 2020 go hiomlán ar líne, 20 – 24 Aibreán. Tá imeachtaí difriúla ar siúl againn agus tá fáilte roimh chách a bheith páirteach. Cuirtear béim ar an gcomhrá, ar an gcomhluadar agus ar an gcraic i rith na seachtaine!

Féile na Gaeilge 2020 will take place entirely online, April 20 – 24th. We have different activities running this week, and all are welcome to get involved. There’s an emphasis placed on conversation, company and fun over the course of the week!
