On Saturday we have an online workshop on translating text into Irish – this is bound to be intriguing, and especially so for our intermediate and advanced learners! Ó Bhéarla go Gaeilge: Irish Translation Workshop

We’re excited for Saturday’s workshop with Tomás Ó Maolalaidh, titled Ó Bhéarla go Gaeilge!

Tomás is a lecturer in translation and lexicography, and he has been working with Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge, at the University of Galway, since 2008. His main areas of interest are vocabulary, terminology, literary translation, Irish dialects and grammar.

In Saturday’s workshop, Tomás will be guiding us through the process of translating a text from English to Irish. Join us, and ask all your grammar questions! This workshop is aimed at Intermediate learners, but all levels are welcome to attend.

Attendance is free for all Students and Subscribers, including any students who enroll for Nov/Dec courses.
