1. I was at school. – Bhí mé ar scoil.

2. I saw the house. – Chonaic mé an teach.

3. I said that you were hungry. – Dúirt mé go raibh ocras ort.

4. You drank a cup of tea. – D’ól tú cupán tae.

5. He came home at 1 o’clock. – Tháinig sé abhaile ar a haon a chlog.

6. He began learning Irish. – Thosaigh sé ag foghlaim na Gaeilge.

7. She played a football game. – D’imir sí cluiche peile.

8. She left her home at 2 o’clock. – D’fhág sí a teach ar a dó a chlog.

9. We went to the hotel. – Chuaigh muid go dtí an t-óstán.

10. They opened the door. – D’oscail siad an doras.
