5-week summer term begins July 3rd!

Seo linn Oíche Fhéile Eoin! Did you know that there is a summer tradition of lighting bonfires every June 23rd, often in Gaeltacht areas, to celebrate Oíche Fhéile Eoin? You can read more about this in our latest article, just one of the interesting new pieces posted in our Articles section!

Speaking of summer traditions, we are once again offering a series of 5-week review courses for students of all levels of Irish! We’re also providing a new A0 Introductory course, as well as a course focused on Ceol. Tá súil againn go mbeidh seans agat a bheith linn i rith an tsamhraidh – hopefully you can join us sometime this summer!

If you’re pressed for time, then this is a particularly good time to dip your toes into learning Irish! Our summer term is only 5-weeks long, and as ever, you can watch video recordings of these classes afterwards. In fact, you can sign up at a discounted rate as a ‘VideoOnly‘ student if you’re unable to attend the live sessions.

This July, we’re offering ‘review’ courses at A1, A2 and B1 levels. Here, the course teachers will be focusing on key topics (and learner requests) from their respective curricula. This is definitely a good option if you want to revise what was covered in classes this year, or perhaps re-engage with Irish, before beginning our 7-week classes in September.

Alongside the A1, A2 and B1 review courses, we’ll also be providing an A0 Introductory course for new learners. We’re also excited to offer a brand new course, Ceol (Music), which will involve discussion of many sorts of music genres, all through Irish!

Of course, if you’re ever wondering about which course to take, please get in touch with us, or come along to our Free Workshop on July 2nd. For further explanation, see our Levels page. As mentioned, all classes can be attended live or as a ‘VideoOnly‘ learner. We’ll also be providing a free Comhrá session every Thursday, at 8pm ET, so all learners can avail of additional language practice.
