Rhymes, dialects and language hunting!

Lá Altaithe sona daoibh go léir – Happy Thanksgiving everyone! ‘Go raibh maith agaibh’ for being part of the online Irish language community this past year, whether as a learner, mentor, múinteoir or supporter! Be sure to catch up with us at one of our upcoming workshops or at our Cóisir na Nollag in December.

If you’re thinking about learning Irish in 2023 (or giving a gift card to someone special), see below for details on upcoming cúrsaí! We have courses for all levels and interests – for example, have you ever wanted to learn Irish rhymes, riddles and tongue-twisters, or teach Irish to children at home? ‘Gaeilge sa Bhaile‘ is just one of the exciting new courses that we’re introducing in January 2023! Our next term of Irish courses begins on Monday, Jan 9th! As well as continuing with our A0 – B1 classes, we’re also introducing some new options, such as Gaeilge sa Bhaile (focusing on rhymes, games, tongue-twisters, riddles, etc.) and Ceacht & Comhrá (for A0 and A1 learners who want to prioritise their conversation skills). We’re also restarting our Gramadach curriculum, with a range of grammar topics suitable for all levels.

Our A0 Introductory course will be available on both Sundays and Tuesdays. Peann & Pár classes continue on Thursdays, with an added emphasis on reading, listening, book reviews and blogging! As always, you can attend live classes, or follow the recordings using the discounted ‘VideoOnly‘ option. Free Comhrá sessions for students continue each week, on Thursdays and Sundays, based on our Topaic na Seachtaine.

Language Hunting, Saturday, Dec 10th
