Member Profile: Bairbre Ruiz
Bairbre Ruiz hails from New York State. She started off with an interest in learning Scots Gaelic, as she’s a fan of the Outlander book series. However, Bairbre found it hard to find learning resources in the US, and so she switched to learning Irish as she found it much easier to learn.
Bairbre notes: “I have some Irish heritage in my background, but it’s the language itself, the challenge, the fun way words get put together that keep me here. I love the teachers at Let’s Learn Irish and the class curriculum and all the extras that come with belonging to this community“.
